Marching

The digital direct action flyers that I used to locate protests did not always list the activities connected with the events. Many flyers only listed a location and did not indicate whether there would be a march. Marching could be an extremely long and exhausting affair, especially under the hot California sun. I felt so much positive energy documenting the marches that many times I forgot how much ground I had covered, until it was time to return to my car. I have to give a shout-out to the Museum of Social Justice . I could not have documented so many protests without the daily reposts of direct action flyers they provided on their Facebook page.
