Intersections

Intersections proved to be a powerful tool in getting the message out to everyday people about the struggle to prove that Black lives do matter. All protests did not include marches but those that did would often stop in the center of very busy intersections. This proved to be a very effective method of getting the attention of everyday citizens going about their daily business. Los Angeles is notorious for its overcrowded traffic and impatient drivers but most of the drivers were respectful of the messages the protestors were conveying. Most drivers showed their solidarity with protestors by honking their horns or raising their balled fists, the symbol of Black Power, out of their car windows.
