About

The testimonies consist of video recordings documenting experiences in hiding, escaping persecution, incarceration in ghettos, labor camps, and concentration camps. Interviewees speak about their childhoods in Belgium, Czechoslovakia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, and Yugoslavia. Concentration camp survivors speak about their experiences in Auschwitz, Bergen-Belsen, Gross Rosen, Mauthausen, Ravensbruck, Salzwedel, Terezin (Theresienstadt), Transnistria camps, and Westerbork.
