| Description | Culture Clash's 1992 play, "S.O.S.: Comedy For These Urgent Times," was written in reaction to the events in Los Angeles that resulted from the Rodney King verdict in April 1992 (either the Los Angeles Riots or the Los Angeles Uprisings, depending upon whom you speak to). They played at the Japan American Theatre in Los Angeles and the Magic Theatre in San Francisco.
