Cohen Answers...
TitleCohen Answers...
DescriptionThe Anti-defamation League of B'nai B'rith published this brochure during World War II to draw attention to individuals -- in this case, individuals with a surname related to "Cohen" -- who had made sacrifices for their country. Detailed are the actions of people like Allan Cohen of New York, a serviceman killed during Naval engagement in the Pacific; Lt. Irving Cohen of Georgia, killed in action over Germany; and Sgt. Harry Cohn of Pennsylvania, who survived the attack on Pearl Harbor but was later killed in combat in the Pacific. Many others are mentioned, with their hometowns and wartime sacrifices. The headline on the reverse side (not visible here) reads: "Cohen answers his Country's Call and Fifth Columnist Lies!" 6 x 10.5 in.
