DescriptionAlthough Eddie Cantor was best-known for his comedic acting and singing on radio, stage, screen and television, he was also a committed humanitarian, devoted to a number of social and political causes. He was affiliated with the March of Dimes from its infancy, and in fact coined the term "March of Dimes" as a marketing and fundraising tool.
