Title	Announcement regarding a forum on academic due process at San Fernando Valley State College -- February 17, 1970
Description	Community Action Group-sponsored forum on academic due process. This meeting addressed the firing of three San Fernando Valley State College (now CSUN) professors. These three professors, named as Dr. Carl Chrislock (History), Dr. Barry Saunders (English), and Dr. Katsu Young (History), were not given reasons for their termination; the firings were believed to be politically motivated. All three appealed their non-retention, and all three were scheduled to speak at the forum, along with faculty president Dr. Richfield, and a student representative referred to as "Mr. Kaufman". The flier is hand-written, with a torch drawn in the center. It asks, "Are our chapels of learning becoming citadels of burning?" Announcement, 11 x 8.5 in.
