Black Student Union's twelve November 4th demands. On November 4, 1968, members of the Black Student Union (BSU) and other disgruntled students of SFVSC took over the fifth floor of the Administration Building. Their goal was to air and resolve grievances that they had with the faculty and administration of the college. This is the list of demands that the BSU made to the college at that time. Demands include such things as an increase in the Educational Opportunities Program (EOP) and the creation of an Afro-American Studies program (now Pan-African Studies) with classes taught by African American instructors. Pledge, 13.5 x 8.5 in.
