Description	Portrait of Delmar T. Oviatt, the first dean of instruction at the San Fernando Valley campus of Los Angeles State College (now CSUN). He would later serve as the college's acting president, prior to the appointment of Dr. James Cleary in 1969. In 1972 the new library, the centerpiece of the campus, was named in his honor.
