Description	The Cross-Examination Debate Association National Sweepstakes First Place Trophy for 1978-1979 was awarded to the California State University, Northridge (CSUN) Forensics Team. A total of 105 debaters competed for the CSUN team during the 1978-1979 season, with two-man teams placing in 24 of the 28 meets attended.
