Description	Photograph of anthropologist Dr. Margaret Mead from the State Sundial, campus newspaper of the San Fernando Valley campus of Los Angeles State College (now CSUN). Dr. Mead was the first guest speaker at the newly opened campus. Her special areas of interest included child-rearing and personality in non-western cultures. She gave two lectures on Thursday, March 28, one in the afternoon in a temporary building on the new campus, and one in the evening at Reseda High School. Clipping, 4.5 x 2 in.
