Cartoon regarding the Dr. Margaret Mead lecture from the campus newspaper, the State Sundial, at the San Fernando Valley campus of Los Angeles State College (now CSUN). Dr. Mead was a well known and respected cultural anthropologist whose work made a significant impact on both the field of anthropology and the women's liberation movement of the 1970s. The cartoon, featuring a caveman trying to gain access to the lecture, was the creation of Dick Lane. Cartoon, 4.5 x 3.75 in.
