This photograph was taken in the weeks following a 6.8 earthquake, which rocked the California State University, Northridge (CSUN) campus on January 17, 1994. As depicted in the photograph, the CSUN community worked quickly and efficiently in an effort to restore the campus in time for the spring semester. Spring classes began on February 14, 1994, four weeks after the earthquake and just two weeks past the original start date. In this photo, some of the temporary mobile classrooms are clearly visible in the background. Color transparency, 2 x 2 in.
