Description	Postcard of the Fine Arts building, located in the southwest section of the San Fernando Valley State College campus (now CSUN). The image shows partly cloudy skies and completed landscaping. Two students sit on the benches in front of the building as a man in a red jacket walks by. The description on the postcard reads: "The architects for this building (Neutra & Alexander) incorporated a 3 story general classroom wing and 1 story ceramic wing and 2 story office wing into 109,550 sq. ft. Included is a separate art gallery plus numerous display areas and adjoining patios. Completed 1960." The building was designed by renowned modernist architect Richard Neutra. It sustained extensive damage in the 1994 earthquake and was subsequently demolished. Color postcard photograph. 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 in.
