Description	William Buckley Jr. and Louis Lomax debate civil rights at the San Fernando Valley State College (now CSUN) gymnasium on December 10, 1965. Buckley, a conservative commentator, is perhaps best known for the television show Firing Line, which aired on PBS for 33 years. Lomax -- a highly regarded African American journalist, author, and civil-rights activist -- is best remembered locally for his twice weekly television show which aired in Los Angeles in the mid-1960s. Black and white photograph, 5 x 7 in.
