Description	Beginning his teaching career at San Fernando Valley State College (now CSUN) in 1971, Dr. Steven Oppenheimer has become one of the University's most prolific publishing researchers with more than 150 published articles, abstracts, and books, many co-authored with students. The Center for Cancer and Developmental Biology, of which Dr. Oppenheimer is Director, has garnered significant funding from organizations such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Science Foundation (NSF). Here, he is shown in his lab, examing cell cultures. Black and white photograph, 8 x 10 in.
