Description	An irradiator vat at Adohr Farms in Reseda, circa 1935-1937. Accompanying caption reads: "Adhor Irradiated Vitamin D Milk is processed in this stainless steel irradiator. A thin fim of milk flows down the side of the vat and is exposed for 16 seconds to the ultra--voilet rays emanating from the light in the center. This adds 135 units of Vitamin D to the milk." Black and white photograph.
