Description from 1947 season playbill: ". . . Señora Yorba. . .is making one of her rare visits to the [ruined San Juan Capistrano] Mission. Before she leaves some Indians enter the grounds carrying the body of their Franciscan friar. The Indians relate that when they were driven away, the Father came with them and starved to death.
