The Weddington House was also the Toluca Post Office (1893). Red Weddington, is pictured at left in the buggy. His father, Wilson C. Weddington is on the porch. He was a sheriff in Iowa for 12 years before moving to California. Mary Weddington, also on the porch was his wife and Fred and Guy Weddington's mother. Her father was a Civil War doctor. Guy Weddington is pictured to the right of the image with a team of horses. The Post Office later moved to the Wilcox store that was bought by Wilson C. Weddington. 1894.
