Oral history interview with Anna M. Nacey, conducted November 27, 1985. In the interview, Nacey shares some of her remembrances of Reseda and the San Fernando Valley in the 1920s and 1930s including: her early childhood in Van Nuys, transportation, mail delivery, road conditions, travel, the Depression, 1932 Los Angeles Olympics, 1933 Long Beach earthquake, utilities, pre-World War II, reaction of residents to the attack on Pearl Harbor, life during war time, post-war development, Reseda in the 1950s, and Presidents Eisenhower and Kennedy. The oral history interview was conducted by Rand J. Anderson, a student at California State University, Northridge. The final transcript was completed by Rebecca R.
