Description	Archibald T. Cowan, former Glendale publisher and civic leader, established the city's first daily newspaper called the "Glendale Evening News" on August 23, 1913. He was born March 18, 1861 in Morrison, IL and came to Glendale in 1912. He married Rebecca L. Parker on August 17, 1887 in Clinton Iowa. He died January 3, 1934 after a long illness. Black and white photograph. 10 x 8 in.
