Description	This detailed example of anti-Jewish propaganda in Hollywood was produced by the Hollywood Actors and Technicians Committee on Unemployment. The thrust of the document is that blame for unemployment in the movie industry (pre-World War II) could be laid squarely at the feet of Hollywod Jews -- be they moguls, producers, actors, or rank-and-file staff. It accuses the studios of being "engaged, day and night, in spreading vicious, un-American propaganda of insult and hate" via the films they made and of hiring Jews instead of non-Jews whenever possible. It implores the reader to "WAKE UP!" and take action to defend their rights, or risk losing their livelihoods. This flier provides a classic example of the scare tactics employed by fascist groups of the time. (See page 2, also in this collection: CRCms134b.) 12 x 9 in.
