Liberation was just one of several magazines and newspapers published by William Dudley Pelley, mostly in the 1930s. Pelley was a well-known novelist and screenwriter who went on to gain even more notoriety as a fascist and founder of the Silver Legion of America (or the Silver Shirts). This particular issue of Liberation accuses Jews, aware that their plot to corrupt American morals has been recognized, of fighting back by glorifying the Jews portrayed in the film "The House of Rothschild", which starred well-known actor George Arliss. The front-page article in this issue is entitled "Poor Old George Arliss Becomes a Jewish Propagandist." 11.5 x 9.5 in.
