This collection is selected from libraries donated by prominent guitarists Vicente Gomez, Laurindo Almeida, Ron Purcell, Vahdah Olcott-Bickford and Neil Anderson. These scores represent close to one-hundred years of guitar music publishing and are comprised primarily of guitar solos, duos and trios as well as ensembles with guitar. Featured are early important composers for the instrument including Albeniz, Tarrega and Granados. Of notable interest are numerous music notebooks containing hand-written compositions from Vahdah Olcott-Bickford and Zarh Bickford.
